If you’re a Shopify seller using Ship&co, we have some good news for you! Based on various feedback we’ve received, we have just added two new features on Ship&co’s dashboard.

Shopify payment status now displayed

With our last update, we had added a new option on the Sync Settings on Ship&co dashboard Shopify Store Settings to include an option to “Fetch orders with incomplete payments”. By checking this option, all orders from Shopify would be imported, whether fully paid or not.

Store > Shopify > Edit > Sync settings

With this current update, we now display the payment status of incomplete payments in the order page of Ship&co dashboard as well.

Orders

If the order payment is incomplete, the status is displayed next to the order number, while if the order is fully paid, there is no status displayed, as shown on the 4th row above.

For incomplete payments, there are 3 status types in Shopify, which we reflect on Ship&co’s dashboard:

1. Pending: This means that the customer has yet to pay for the order.

2. Authorized: This means that the customer’s financial institution has validated the payment but the amount has not been transferred yet.

3. Partially paid: This means that the customer has paid part of the payment, but not fully yet.

When you click an order, the payment status will also be displayed on top of the individual order page, so that you will be aware of the payment status before fulfilling the order.

With this new feature, you can now sync your Shopify orders regardless of the payment status, and choose which to ship out after checking the payment status on Ship&co.

Customer order notes now synced

Customers’ order notes from Shopify are now synced on Ship&co's dashboard.

Say, for example, the customer has left you a note during checkout (this could be to share the excitement of using the new Bento box, or requesting to leave the parcel at the reception of the office). You will now be able to see this note in your order page as well, which can come in very handy as you process the shipment.

If you, as the seller, were to modify the note on Shopify, or add a new note, the note will be automatically updated on Ship&co as well.

We hope you’ll enjoy using these new features. For more information, please check out these Help Centre pages on Shopify store setting and Shopify order status, or feel free to reach us at hello@shipandco.com. And if you don't have a store on Shopify yet, check out this link for more.
