One of the unique points about SF Express is that it has a large in-house courier network, and as a result is able to handle in-house last-mile delivery even in remote areas in China. This includes SF Express’ own fleet of cargo aircraft, with plans to open a civil transport airport in China.
SF Express Services
For cross-border delivery, SF Express offers 4 main services.
Standard Express Service is door-to-door international express service with faster transit time.
Economy Express is for less time-sensitive shipments, with lower cost for door-to-door delivery.
E-Parcel is all-rounded logistics solution, with import, export and distribution support with customs clearance and other value-added services.
International Heavy Freight is for heavy-weight shipments (45kg or above), with traceable features and fuel surcharge waived.
Regardless of the service chosen, there are two types of options available for the first-mile. You can choose to drop off at one of SF Express service points, or request a pick-up.
For customers based in Japan, SF Express has service points located in Tokyo, Osaka, as well as Sapporo. In terms of delivery time between Japan (Tokyo/Osaka) and China, Standard Express typically takes 2-4 days while Economy Express takes 3-5 days, depending on the region in China.
Additionally, SF Express also has an extensive cold chain logistics network in China, which might be a point of consideration for sellers looking for delivery of fresh and frozen food exports into China.
